THE LAUNDRY DOESN’T SMELL AS GOOD WITHOUT FABRIC SOFTENER….

WE HAVE THE SOLUTION

That fabric softener is an environmental culprit and that it destroys the fibers in our clothes is proven. Thus, most of us have stopped using it and to a large extent we only use it for towels and underwear. We have found both an environment and fragrant substitute for the traditional bright blue fabric softener. Essential oil – Adding essential oil to the dryer is a quick way to get clothes, bed linen, towels, etc. to smell fresh and comfortable. The most important thing, however, is to check the flash point of the oils as they are different depending on which essential oil you choose.

A dryer usually runs up to 60 degrees heat so you can start by using oils whose flash point starts at 70 degrees to be on the safe side.

Examples of oils that have a flash point of 80 degrees:

  • Sandalwood
  • Geranium
  • Cedar

Oils that have a lower flash point such as 38 degrees are for example:

  • Mint
  • Citrus
  • Eucallyptus

We recommend that you drop about 3 drops (taste, try it out) on a “wooldryer ball”. See webshop. And lets it spread the scent safely and evenly in the dryer. It is important to use a high quality of the essential oil for the flash point to be reliable. Of course, you should not use scents you are allergic to or react to.
